Must. Change. Something.

It's official. I have lost all ability to reason.

While I should be tackling the dozen boxes of yard sale things in my living room downstairs, I am not. Instead I am walking through my house obsessively. Eyeballing this. Mentally rearranging that. Racking my brain for any and all creative ideas on how to inexpensively change our home.

For the second time in the past month.

I can't help myself. But! and it must be said... I have found some brilliant ideas. Hopefully soon, I'll be able to do change something, so home sweet home will feel "better" to this 3rd Trimester Pregnant Crazy-Nesting Brain of mine.

Take a look at our Family Room, for instance. Which DRIVES ME CRAZY.

Can I tell you how many times I've changed the mantle around in this room!!? (Note: I do not like the current arrangement. It's a new thing. A I'm-trying-it-out-for-a-while thing. It will not be there next week.)

And here's another angle...

and another. Yes. they were watching Veggie Tales. :)

No matter what I've done to this room in the past, everything about it annoys me. The fireplace. The paneled walls. The color. But due to the fact that *change* costs money and we're trying to pay off our beloved Mortgage, there's only so much that can be done. You know?

Our Living Room...
And though I've recently de-formalized it by bringing down kids books and games and toys and stuffed animals, it still feels a little "stuffy" to me. Like it's a fun room, but... not.

And Hello! I'm so not using the MASSIVE wall space (due to high high ceilings) that we got going on. And that is a HUGE frame you see behind the couch, just to give you a little insider's view. Huge, I tell you.

But thanks to my new-found need to Change EVERYTHING in site and the internet filled with endlesss waste-your-time hours of viewing pleasure, I have many ideas. No money, mind you. But many an idea.

Now... off to stare at my yard sale boxes.
