(**Addendum: I went back to the site after a friend said she couldn't access the videos. Don't know what's going on? This time around, I was able to access some, but not others (including the Heidi Baker one AND the pregnant woman one!? ...just wanted to give you a head's up. I tried writing to the website's comments, but they were "full". Maybe that means they're going to fix it? AND I cannot vouch for the other links you come across on this site; For instance, I know nothing about one of the ministries linked on there.)


Okay, so I've gotten some emails asking about the healing video regarding the pregnant lady I talked about a few posts ago. More than one of you said outright, "So are you going to tell us about it, or are you going to let us know how to view it for ourselves?" Ahh...I love my friends. Of course, I'll tell you! :)

But instead of sending you to YouTube, I found THIS SITE where you can view it, along with many other stories of the miraculous. Who knew this site existed?! The videos that I briefly looked at were created by CNN and CBN.

I wasn't able to view the large majority of the stories due to time constraints (ie. I'm a mom!). In fact, I was only able to look at three. One of which involved Heidi Baker, a missionary to Africa, that spoke at a conference I attended a few years back. She, without doubt, is the most tangibly-in-love-with-Jesus person Jet and I have ever encountered.

She left her California lifestyle to live among the poorest of the poor in Africa. And since then, her life has been threatened numerous times because of the impact she's having in the Muslim world. She has accomplished, through Jesus, what I've only read about in the Scriptures. And when you hear her talk...when you see her in person...she RADIATES the loves of God like I have never, ever seen. And I can only hope to know Jesus like she knows him. Because, more than once, she has literally sat on the lap of the King. She knows Jesus like I know my best friend. So there you have it. An official site where we can go to remind ourselves, yet again, that our God is a God of daily miracles. He is a miracle worker.

Like Paul said to Timothy:

"I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you. Hence I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you..." 2 Timothy 1:5,6

So let us fan the flame of faith that is within us. Let us remind ourselves that God is who he says He is. Let us allow these testimonies to encourage us to trust God for the impossible. Instead of allowing our faith to be choked... by this world's view of reality.
