4th of July

On July 4th, we all headed to some friends' house for a cook-out. :) The couple who hosted the party lived up the hill from her parents, who owned a pool. So Mike would take tractor rides, filled to the brim with kids, down to the pool. Though my girls weren't swimming, they LOVED riding up and down the hill. *Freedom* from me and Jet. And *adventure* with the other kids.
I love the above picture because it shows a bit of Selah's personality. She's very, very "careful" with people. Meaning, it takes a LOT for her to really trust you, so she can come across as really shy. She must have REALLY wanted to ride down with everybody. But she doesn't know Mike...so here she is sort of checking him out. ;)
I'm so bummed because I didn't have my flash on to control the movement blur. But I love this one!!! The kids look thrilled!!

Bill surprised me by pulling out a guitar and singing. He's good! Who knew he had this hidden talent?!
