Our town businesses open up their doors for two hours to shower the kids with candy and other treats. The girls, who have never done this before, couldn't get over the fact that all they had to do was open up their bag and someone would fill it with chocolate. :)So we ran around our town for an hour and then headed to our church's harvest party...
Where they had a climbing wall, craft tables, a moon bounce, and so much more.
At the end of the night, we had over SEVEN POUNDS of candy! ...and that was after we ate some!!! The baby food is in the picture just to show how big that bowl is. No...no one gave out mashed bananas as a treat. :)

Sounds like tons of fun. I thought about dressing Haven up and taking him out to get myself some free candy ... but I didn't. (oh, yeah, the sugar thing came to an abrupt halt one night when i was craving chocolate chip cookies.)

That looks like fun! On the 31st we stayed home and made spaghetti and danced around our living room to some old fifties music. :) Such a weird thing to do on Halloween night.... I know. Hey, maybe we'll make it a tradition! :)
