This past week has been crazy busy. Getting ready to go visit family. Helping my niece prepare to leave for a year-long trip. Driving long distances with the rest of the free world in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Eating an unnatural amount of food over and over again. Dealing with the upexpected killer trio of yeast infection, thrush, and my first monthly visitor since R. was born. Too much info? Yeah...for me too. *wink*
But such was the weekend. Fun yet...not. :) Here are some of the highlights.
He finished the race inUNDER 20 minutes! That's a pace of less than 6-minute-miles! and he's only 15!!!! Give him a few years and he'll be kicking everybody's booty. Nah, I'm not proud or anything. ;)
So there you have it. A bit of what we've been up to during the Thanksgiving holidays. Can you even believed that it's already over?!!! I'm off to decorate my house for Christmas!!

Emily-
what? no tinsel and tree for you yet? I'm the person that puts up the tree the day after T'giving and doesn't take it down until well After New Years. I LOVE Christmas decor and all that surrounds it. :D
Maybe I'll come to your house and help, eh?
Fun photos. Your girls are beauties. I wrapped a few Christmas presents this morning. Here we go.....
What a fun time! I love that picture of Jet and the girls! And I hear ya on the decorating for Christmas...we are all decorated. I love, love, love everything Christmas! We decorated the day after Thanksgiving and am loving the cozy feel it brings to the house! Have fun decorating!

Oh I love the pics - such fun!
No idea the girls had some reddish in that brown - love it.
Hope the decorating is fun. Please come do my house too!

Talk to you soon!

What a bummer that your computer still isn't working right!
Looks like you had fun...well, sort of (that first paragraph had me feeling pretty sorry for ya).
We always decorate the weekend of Thanksgiving, but it is earlier this year and with the new pellet stove we were afraid it would dry the tree out, so...next weekend for the tree, but all the other "stuff" is up.
It's good to have you back blogging again! :)
I'm glad you made it through the holiday, and by the end of your post and all your great pics, I had completely forgotten about the "difficulties" you expressed at the beginning! Hopefully that's how it will be in real life, too...all the bad fades away, and only the good remains! :)
