So I, being the ever-devout little Christian woman, turned to the Scriptures. Where I made a startling discovery:
"All the fat is mine, says the Lord." Leviticus 3:16
To which I say?
By all means, come and take what is rightfully yours, Lord!!!
Who knew it could be that easy?!!
hee hee. I couldn't help myself. Sarcasm. I swear it's a disease. ;)
Baby Fat update: 9 pounds to go.

Funny stuff! Good luck with the '9 pounds to go'!
My baby is 30 months old and I am still blaming her for my baby weight! I am starting to think people don't believe me any more!

Great job! I have been "struggling" with my weight for awhile now. As you saw on my blog my plan is working and I am working hard.
With that being said...I KNOW how hard it is to lose the weight! I applaude anyone who is able to make a serious commitment!
I have found that praying for God to release my temptation to certain foods has worked. Oh silly me to think that my God isn't big enough to help me with the issues that I find are binding my thoughts???
You can do this!!!
This verse really ministers to me. Thank you for sharing such a poignant devotional today. I just know God wants to reveal the same truth to me.
Oh Jen Jen Jen
You have me laughing SOOO hard. I can't stop. (and yes, I'm serious)
You goob. How I love and miss you.
Wow! I feel such an agreement in my spirit. I mean, who are we to hold onto what rightfully belongs to God? Seems akin to stealing tithe $. Maybe I should just go lay my body on the altar this Sunday, especially my hips. Maybe He'll zap away what's His. ;) (Or maybe I should run several laps around the parking lot....that might work, too.)
