One of my daughters' friends turned 5 years old recently. So in honor of him, we all gathered to celebrate today. And get this...there were TWENTY FIVE children aged 6 and under !! It was beautiful chaos! Complete with a swimming pool, cake laced with frighteningly high levels of sugar, and water balloon launchers. Yes, the parents HAD temporarily taken leave of their senses allowing that sort of combination to take place. *Insert here wild children screaming with delight and parents yelling for their child to calm down 'just a bit'*
To let you know just how much fun my girls had: On the way home, Charis said "When I have my birthday, can I have it at Elias's grandma's house too?"

I love this picture! These were the kids we were able to corral into sitting for a second. They all go to the same church...I wonder where they'll be and what they'll all be doing in 15 years. :D Whatever it is, I hope they're all still the best of friends!

The Feeding Frenzy around the presents. It was so completely adorable to see all the kids excited for SOMEONE ELSE to open up presents. Too sweet!

What would this be without a picture of my sweetheart? A natural at the daddy thing. This weekend was beyond fun! but I'm kind of ready for a slower paced Monday morning. Can you even believe it?!

The pictures make me want to be a kid again. When the only worry was how to fit everything into my afternoon AND have cake. The photos are TOO cute!
